TradeView & live charts

Review a single trade at a glance with its stats, chart, and notes, and check your entry and exit points right on real market candles.

What is TradeView

When you open a single trade from your trading journal, the left side shows stats such as P&L, position, and the fill timeline, while the right side shows the chart and notes together. You can move between trades with the previous/next buttons or the left/right arrow keys to review them, and use the gear button to turn the displayed info sections on and off.

The notes area shows that trade's notes along with the daily memo for that date. A daily memo is kept as one per date, so whatever you wrote for that date is shown alongside the trade regardless of wallet.

Live chart

When you pick the live chart from the Image | Live chart tabs at the top of the chart card, a real market candle chart for the time window when that trade happened is shown, with entry/exit markers placed on the candles. It is available for cryptocurrency (spot and futures) and Korean stock, ETF, and ETN trades, and is provided free on every plan.

  • Candle interval — For crypto you can choose from 1-minute up to daily candles (1m, 5m, 15m, 1h, 4h, 1D), and when you first open it the interval that fits the holding time is selected automatically. Korean listings provide daily (1D) candles only.
  • Price exchange — For crypto, use the dropdown on the right to switch between Bybit, MEXC, and Bitget prices. Trades imported via API connection default to that exchange, while manually entered and CSV trades default to Bybit. Korean stocks, ETFs, and ETNsshow KRX public-data daily candles (recognized by a 6-digit ticker, a Korean company name, or an ETF's full name such as "KODEX 200").
  • Zoom out & pan — Zoom out with the mouse wheel or drag the chart left and right, and candles for the surrounding periods load automatically as you go.
  • Markers are time-based— Entry and exit markers are placed on the candle at the fill "time". Even if the wallet currency (e.g. KRW) differs from the chart currency (USDT), the timing lines up exactly.

Attaching chart images

On the Image tab you can attach up to 5 chart screenshots you captured yourself per trade (5MB each). Uploading captures that mark your entry rationale lets you use them as review material alongside the live chart.

About the market data

  • Crypto prices display data published by each exchange (Bybit, MEXC, Bitget), and Korean stock, ETF, and ETN prices display KRX daily data from the public data portal; they may differ by source and point in time and can differ from actual fill prices, so they are for reference only.
  • Depending on exchange circumstances (maintenance, policy changes, etc.), price display may be delayed or temporarily suspended. If it shows no data, try switching to another exchange.
  • The chart is drawn with TradingView's Lightweight Charts™ library, and the TradingView logo is shown in the bottom-left of the chart.

For the terms of use of the price information, see the market data display clause in the Terms of Service.
