Dashboard & widgets
As your records build up, they show your trading through metrics and graphs.
The four fixed metrics
The top of the dashboard always has four core metrics. All of them are calculated only from trades that have been closed with a settled P&Lwithin the selected period. If there are no trades at all, the value shows as "-".
| Metric | Meaning |
|---|---|
| P&L | Sum of P&L for closed trades in the period. Gray if 0, blue for a profit, red for a loss. |
| Win rate | Number of winning trades ÷ total number of trades. A positive P&L is a win, negative is a loss, and exactly 0 is a draw. Draws are included in the denominator (total) too, so it is "wins / total" rather than "wins / (wins + losses)". The semicircle gauge beside it shows the win/draw/loss counts as proportions. |
| Profit/loss ratio (R) | Average profit ÷ average loss. How many times larger the money you make on a win is than the money you lose on a loss. If there are no losing trades at all, it shows as ∞. The bar beside it shows the ratio of average profit to average loss. |
| Max drawdown | The largest drop of the equity curve from its peak. To show it as a %, you need ending balance (balance) records; if the balance is unknown, only the amount shows and the % appears as "—". |
The change line under each metric shows the change compared with the immediately preceding period of the same length. The comparison appears only when both periods have trades, and it is green for an improvement and red for a decline (for drawdown, getting larger is treated as worse).
The period selector is "rolling, including today"
The period segments at the top (day, week, month, year) are not the calendar's current week/current month but the recent range counted backward including today.
- Day — the last 24 hours
- Week — the last 7 days including today
- Month — the last 30 days
- Year — the last 365 days
- Custom — set the start and end dates yourself on the calendar
You can also view a specific wallet only with the wallet dropdown on the left. The selected period and wallet apply together to the fixed metrics and most widgets. However, widgets that use their own period, such as the daily heatmap, day-of-week P&L, and discipline heatmap, move independently of the top period.
Custom widgets
Below the fixed metrics is a "My widgets" area where you pick and arrange the widgets you want. Each widget requires a certain plan, and some open on the paid plan. At first, four are on — cumulative P&L trend, daily heatmap, strategy performance, and position weighting — and the rest are added in edit mode.
Basic (Free) widgets
- Cumulative P&L trend — The curve of P&L building up over the period. Toggle including/excluding the seed (initial balance) in the header.
- Daily profit heatmap — Daily P&L on a calendar as color and amount. Month navigation is independent of the top period. Daily memos open on the paid plan and are kept as one per date, so the same memo shows regardless of which wallet you view. You can also read and write the same memo in the daily journal.
- Strategy/tag performance — Compares cumulative P&L and win rate by strategy or by tag (highest win rate first).
- Position weighting — A donut of how concentrated your funds are by symbol or by wallet. Anything beyond the top 5 is grouped as "Other".
- Recent trades — A list of recently closed trades or open positions. Click one to go to that trade.
- Holdings overview — Gathers and shows only currently open positions (held assets).
- Discipline heatmap — Checklister adherence rate as calendar colors. For details, see Checklister.
Paid plan widgets
- Quick trading journal — Write a trading journal entry right from the dashboard.
- Compound projection graph — Extrapolates the future by compounding the asset growth rate of the recent period.
- Time-of-day performance — P&L by exit time (0–24h) as a scatter plot. Find the time slots that suit you.
- Day-of-week P&L analysis — Sum of P&L by day of week as bars. Uses its own period (1 week / 1 month / custom).
- Discipline radar — Shows the day-of-week discipline adherence rate for the last 3 months as a radar.
- Kelly formula — Calculates the theoretically appropriate bet size from win rate and profit/loss ratio (for reference).
- P&L asymmetry — Shows the return needed to recover a loss back to the initial balance and the estimated days it takes.
- FIRE countdown — Projects the time left to your target amount using the average daily return.
- FIRE timeline — Tracks actual progress against plan from your start date to the target amount, with a roadmap, this month's daily goal stack, and today's goal gauge.
- Trade calendar — Shows positions from entry to exit as duration bars on a calendar.
- Holdings heatmap — Tiles your holdings so size is weight and color is return.
You can check the required plan for each widget in Plans & billing. Values that project the future, such as Kelly, compound projection, and FIRE, are estimates based on past data and do not guarantee returns.
FIRE timeline in detail
Once you set a target amount and a daily goal, it shows the path from your start date to the target in four parts.
- Top metrics — Target amount, total assets, projected target date and days left, daily goal, and your actual current average.
- FIRE roadmap — Actual progress against the planned line. Ahead of plan shows blue, behind plan shows red.
- This month's goal stack — A color per day of this month showing whether you met that day's goal, which is calculated from that day's starting assets.
- Today's status — Today's realized P&L as a percentage of today's goal, shown as a gauge and a progress figure.
Start date and base assets
The start date decides which point onward counts as performance. P&L from before the start date is not counted separately but is folded into your base assets, and the roadmap, goal stack, and daily goal all use only realized P&L from the start date onward. Open positions are not counted until their P&L is settled.
Widget edit mode
Pressing the Edit widgetsbutton in the "My widgets" area turns on edit mode. Every change is saved immediately with no separate save button, and the layout is remembered separately per wallet.
- Add — Turn on an off widget from "Add widget". Widgets your plan does not cover are marked with a lock and show an upgrade notice instead of their content.
- Turn off — Hide it with the hide icon in each widget header (deactivate, not delete).
- Move — Swap places with a nearby widget using the left/right arrows.
- Size — Widgets that have a size option let you change the size from the header.
Each widget's controls, such as toggles, period, and inputs, appear next to the widget card's title (e.g. the seed-included toggle for cumulative P&L, month navigation for the heatmap, and value inputs for Kelly and FIRE).
