Getting started

From sign-up to your first entry takes just a few minutes.

1. Sign in (signing up is signing in)

TLOG uses your Google or Kakao accountto sign in. There's no separate ID and password registration—your account is created the moment you sign in for the first time.

On your first sign-in, you'll review three required agreements. Being 14 or older, the Terms of Service, and consent to the collection and use of personal information. You must agree to all three to start using the service.

Once you've agreed, you go straight to the dashboard.

2. Set up wallets and a base currency

Trades are managed by wallet (account). Just like brokerage accounts or exchange wallets, you can split your funds and assign a display currency (KRW/USD) to each wallet. Even if you use multiple currencies, setting a base currency lets TLOG convert a mixed-currency screen into a single currency.

You can change these anytime under Settings → Features, so it's fine to start with just one wallet you use often. For details, see Wallets & currency settings.

3. Write your first journal entry

Under Trade Log → New entry, just enter the symbol, quantity, and price—the app automatically calculates the average price, P&L, and ending balance. The entry workflow and automatic calculation rules are covered in detail in How to write journal entries.

If you already have records elsewhere, you can move them over all at once with CSV import.

4. Look back on the dashboard

As records accumulate, the dashboard's pinned metrics (P&L, win rate, profit/loss ratio, max drawdown) and widgets fill in. For how to read the metrics, see Dashboard & widgets.
